Nonox, founded in 1996, started with the development of new technology gas engines with both superior environmental and fuel economy properties. Nowadays, Nonox has worldwide patented technology which can be applied to natural gas, diesel and petrol engines.
The mechatronic device Nonox developed results in a revolutionary improvement in engine efficiency of all Otto engines by eliminating throttle losses and reducing CO2 and NOx emissions. Nonox calls this device the Electronically Operated Control Valve (EOCV).
Nonox technology is proven on MAN public transport busses and Nonox's software is embedded in the Bosch Motor Management System. Nonox technology can be applied on all engines; (natural) gas, gasoline, hydrogen and methanol.
